Douglas Lee is a Chinese-Canadian designer and a Founding Partner of Other Projects. He holds
a Masters in Architecture from UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design (2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning, Design & Management from UCL’s Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment (2016). He was the recipient of the 2022 Forge Prize, 2017 National Urban Design Student Award, and his academic work has been published and exhibited at UC Berkeley CED, UCL Bartlett, the Architectural Association, and University of Hong Kong. Douglas is also co-founder of the award-winning design collective Temporary Office with Yee Foo Lai.
His work experience includes SANAA in Tokyo, SLA in Copenhagen, The Open Workshop in San Francisco, BIG and WRNS in New York, Atelier Deshaus and Neri&Hu in Shanghai, and OMA in Rotterdam. Selected projects include Suzhou Shishan Square Art Theater, MIT Music Building,
Bezalel Academy Jersualem, Vandkulturhu Copenhagen, Boston Seaport Convention Center, Aarhus Kulkransporet, and Re-Assembling the Archive.
